About me

My name is Mohammad Ali Nilforooshan.
I am a Quantitative Genetics at LIC, Hamilton, New Zealand.
I received my PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics – Quantitative Genetics, from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, in May 2011.
My work experience is mainly on genetic/genomic evaluation of dairy cattle, but I also have experience in genetic/genomic evaluation of sheep and beef cattle.
My research interest is on methodological and computational aspects of quantitative genetics.
